As most members will know, there has been a long process of defining ministry plans, restructuring management, and redefining our vision and mission. But there is now light emerging through the clouds . . . . .
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - Sunday 13th September
Our AGM was held after the 10:30 am service. A motion was put to change our constitution to align with new governance structure. The new draft constitution is available below or a hard copy can be provided, if requested. A further motion was put to elect deacons for 2 year terms and Elders for 3 year terms. The budget for the 2009-2010 period (available below) was also presented.

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ELDERSHIP (Wednesday 16th September 2009)
Elders are pleased to announce that the motions held last Sunday for Elders, Deacons and office bearers were all carried.
The vote for the constitution failed to achieve the required 75% endorsement.
Eldership are resolved to put the constitution back to the church at the earliest opportunity. The newly elected Board of Ministries will meet to discuss this coming week and a further announcement will be made next week.
There were several people who voted “NO” who did not take the opportunity to discuss their concerns, and Elders would encourage and welcome those to do so as soon as possible.
In the interim period the Elders and Deacons will be meeting together as the Board of Ministries, prayerfully implementing the general framework as expressed in the new proposed constitution.

Stage 2A Plans
New Stage 2A plans are still being researched and it is hoped to have info to congregation as soon as possible. Stage 2A plans involve building the foyer area with additional space for seminar and meeting rooms.
